Basil Triple Meat Sandwich on a Toasted Brioche Bun
We love when our local grocery store has a meat sale! Last year Poppa Bear bought us a deep freezer in order to help save money and help with my meal planning. So, I came up with this fantastic Basil Triple Meat Sandwich on a Toasted Brioche Bun.
I made this sandwich with beef flank that was marked down by 80%. I also found some Brioche buns on sale the same day. Then I stopped by our local Vietnamese grocery store because they always have great prices on Thai Basil.
Pre-heat the oven to 360. Put a Brioche Bun on each square of aluminum foil.
First, put your onions and flank in your cast iron skillet and cook until done.
Once flank is done cut as thin as possible (make sure you cut against the grain)
Now add a few slices of each meat (flank, roast beef, and turkey), sautéed onions, gruyere, And Thai Basil (as much as each person enjoys). Then wrap tightly in the aluminum foil. Place in the oven for 10 minutes.
