Slime Time #1 – Why I Make Small Moments a Big Deal!

What are some of y’all’s most memorable moments in your childhood? If they are anything like mine than they are probably spur of the moment activities or ones that just happened organically. I vaguely remember very little money was spent on most of my favorite childhood activities! That is why I do this with most moments in our home, likewise with something as small as making slime!

We try and make a different Slime recipe bi-weekly. Sometimes we make it once a week if time allows.

Slime Time #1 – Clear Slime

First, you need to place the glue in the bowl. Now add your coloring and or fragrance oil. If you are not using either of these then add your glycerin now. Remember to mix slowly!

Next, add your activator. (Add baking soda to the slime and then add contact lens solution. When adding contact solution add 1 TB at a time and mix slowly)

Once the slime starts getting sticky you want to start kneading it with your hands. Rub a little of the activator on your hands so the slime will not stick to them.

When you are through making and playing with it store in an airtight container!
