How to Make Holiday Cranberry Mint Iced Tea


I am going to be completely honest with ya’ll I absolutely adore this Cranberry Mint Iced Tea however, not everyone in our household is as big of a fan as I am. Because of that exact reason I only make it for special occasions so they won’t have a reason to complain about it. This tea would go perfect with a holiday such as Thanksgiving due to the cranberry flavor being in full profile of this beverage.

It is the perfect blend of mint and cranberry sweetness. I will warn you that if you are not a fan of mint then chances are you may not be as in love with this wonderful Iced Tea as I am. This drink is not only cool but also refreshing! If you like mint I suggest giving this a try!

INSTRUCTIONS

First, pour the cranberry juice cocktail into the 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Once it starts boiling turn off burner.

Next, pour the cranberry juice over the mint and the tea bags in the heatproof mixing bowl. Let it steep for about 5 – 10 minutes.

Now strain mixture through the fine mesh strainer.

Equipment

  • Fine Mesh Strainer
  • Medium Mixing Bowl
  • 2 Quart (medium) Saucepan
  • 2 Quart Heatproof Glass Pitcher

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Cranberry Juice Cocktail
  • 4 tea bags Black Tea
  • 20 leaves Mint or use how many you prefer
  • 2 TB Granulated Sugar

Instructions

  • First, pour the cranberry juice cocktail into the 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Once it starts boiling turn off burner.
  • Next, pour the cranberry juice over the mint and the tea bags in the heatproof mixing bowl. Let it steep for about 5 – 10 minutes.
  • Now strain mixture through the fine mesh strainer.
  • Pour tea into Heatproof Glass Pitcher and stir in sugar (if desired).
  • Serve over ice and Enjoy!!! Add more sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Depending on how sweet you like your Cranberry Mint Sweet Tea you may not need to add the granulated sugar. Or some people prefer it with more sugar, if so add 1 tsp at a time.
  • You can also add as little or as many mint leaves that are preferred.
 
  • If you do NOT have fresh mint leaves then you can use dried mint.
