Cocktail – Bloodhound
If you are like me then you more than appreciate a good adult mixed drink. Even though I am the only person in our household who drinks (Poppa Bear is a teetotaler) I am always on the hunt for new and improved cocktail recipes! If you are looking for an adult beverage with any of the following then look no further; blueberries, gin, or vermouth!
Some would say that I am adventurous when it comes to trying just about anything, no matter the situation. I often like to experiment with different types of alcohol and I don’t have a favorite type or maker. However, I do have a thing for bourbon neat no matter the brand of bourbon.
I never thought I would actually enjoy gin but I have been pleasantly surprised by the cocktail recipes I have tried over the last year that have included gin!
First, you muddle whatever fruit that you have on hand. I happen to have a bunch of organic blueberries that were on sale at our local market.

Next, you add all of the ingredients into a shaker and shake/mix well. Then you strain into a chilled martini glass.
So, voila!!! Now you have a Bloodhound.
